A Mother's day walk...

It's Mother's day here today and when given the choice of what I wanted to do I chose to go for a walk in the countryside with the dogs and have some lunch at a canalside pub.

We started off accross the farmer's fields towards the canal, crossing over styles and passing through 5 bar gates.

We then got onto the canal tow path , passing barges, ducks and swans before arriving at the cross keys pub for some lunch.

We sat outside in the Spring sunshine and had a lovely time.

Mother's Day isn't until May 11th here. Those pictures are great! We've still got 4 ft of snow, and we've got snow again today falling on us. Talk about cabin fever...LOL. Gald you had a nice Mothers day!!

Thanks Sophia, it was gorgeous yesterday weatherwise, but they have threatened us with some snow showers tonight, I doubt we'll get them but we can but hope.

BTW I have no idea who that person is who has commented above you!
