These videos are old now, it was the morning of April 6th 2006 when Lily had her first litter of "puppies" she had them in the night and so they are about 4 hours old here when i came down stairs and found them- it is amazing how Guinea pigs are born "fully loaded" and ready to go!

Poor Lily, how did all those babies fit inside her!! She's so little! BTW like the new blog layout!
Thanks, was having trouble getting things to lay out properly on the other one- i know poor Lily she was like the side of a house when she was pregnant.
Wow, Kate! Guinea Pig pups are REALLY well developed at birth. I'm amazed these guys are only 4 hours old in the video!
It took Elsie's pups something like three weeks to do what your Lily's pups are doing.
I guess canines are just a bit slower to develop, eh?
LOL...I'm tickled to see your "grandbabies" -- what happened to all of them? Were you able to place them all in good homes? Did you keep any? I know this is over a year ago, but I'm just curious.
They were beautiful pups. And Lily seems like a sweetie. Seeing her makes me miss "Squeakers" (my son's Guinea Pig who died over 10 years ago).
But I suppose I have my hands full with our gang here. :o)
The videos look terrific! Great job!
